Clinical Investigation Specialists, Inc. (CIS), is a robust clinical research center located in the mid-west within one hour of driving between Chicago and Milwaukee. Established in 1987, multiple investigators are currently conducting studies in six Illinois locations and one Wisconsin location. CIS aspires to expand its physician staff by tapping into top medical talent with multiple patient populations.

Our professional staff is sensitive to the needs and concerns of pharmaceutical sponsors. CIS has completed Phase I through Phase IV studies including pharmacokinetic, bioequivalence and drug interaction studies in healthy, normal and targeted patient populations. Our physician team includes: board certified internists, family practice physicians, psychiatrists, rheumatologists, dermatologists and cardiologist. In addition our clinical staff includes research coordinators, professional nurses, Pharm D's, medical assistants, data coordinators, regulatory document specialists, contract analysts, accounting, marketing and recruitment staff. All staff members function according to Good Clinical Practice guidelines and 21 CFR. CIS operates with a full repertoire of Standard Operating Procedures.

CIS produces quality electronic data coordination with timely query resolution. The patient experience in CIS is superb because our efforts are patient-centric. The CIS team works in harmony to ensure that the patient experience is outstanding.  Potential patients are identified by staff with access to our central electronic database which is organized by disease state and ICD-10 coding. This central database includes over 5,500 potential patients. In combination, our central database and affiliate alliance databases provide well over 20,000 patients ready for immediate review. The CIS patient recruitment and retention specialists are fully trained and ready to make the first patient contact and pre-screen potential patients.
